Tuna Meatballs with Garlic Aioli

Make your next cocktail hour a success with this knock-out Tuna Meatball recipe. Made with Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore in Water and served with homemade garlic aioli, these bite size appetizers are a delicious way to say “Happy Holidays!”

Tuna Meatballs

2 (5 oz.) cans Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore in Water, drained
½ cup breadcrumbs
1 garlic clove
1 tbsp of fresh parsley
¼ cup parmesan cheese, grated
1 egg
½ tsp of salt
¼ tsp of pepper
Vegetable oil for frying

Garlic Aioli Sauce

½ cup mayonnaise
2 garlic cloves, pressed
1 tbsp of lemon juice
2 tbsps of olive oil
¼ tsp of salt


To make the garlic aioli dipping sauce, add mayonnaise, garlic cloves, lemon juice, olive oil, and salt and pepper to a mixing bowl. Whisk until all ingredients have combined evenly. Set aside.

To make the meatballs, add tuna, breadcrumbs, parsley, egg, cheese, and salt and pepper to a food processor. Blend ingredients until combined. Be careful not to over mix.

Heat oil on stovetop in frying pan. Using an ice cream scoop or spoon, shape tuna mixture into balls with clean hands.

Place meatballs in oil and fry for 8 minutes flipping until golden brown on all sides.

Remove excess oil from meatballs, and serve immediately with garlic dipping sauce. Sprinkle with fresh parsley for garnish.
