Tuna and Cheese Pie

Servings: Serves 6


2 cans or pouches (5 oz) Tuna, drained and flaked or 1 can (14.75 oz) Pink Salmon

3 large raw eggs

1/2 cup chopped green onions

1 cup half and half

1 clove garlic, minced or pressed

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 cup chopped fresh broccoli florets

2 cups (8 oz) shredded Swiss cheese or jack cheese

1 9-inch pie shell


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Prebake pie shell according to package directions until barely golden. Set aside. In large bowl, beat eggs, onions, half and half, garlic, salt and pepper until well blended. Arrange tuna in baked pie shell, mounding towards the center, add broccoli and cheese. Pour egg mixture to cover tuna. Bake at 350 degrees F for 45 minutes or until filling is puffed and lightly browned.
