Cheesy Baked Tuna And Tomato Pasta

A weeknight dinner for the family can be easy and delicious with this kid-friendly Baked Tuna and Tomato Pasta recipe. Featuring Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore Tuna and 2 types of cheese, this hearty recipe will keep your family satisfied all week.

2 5-oz cans of Bumble Bee Solid White Albacore Tuna, drained
2 cans of crushed tomatoes
1 cup of parmesan cheese, grated
1/2 cup of ricotta cheese
1/4 cup of parsley, chopped
1 pound of pasta shells
4 tablespoons of butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt and pepper to taste


In a large pot over medium heat, melt butter before adding cans of crushed tomatoes along with the juice. Simmer for half an hour while bringing another large pot of water to boil. Salt the water before adding pasta shells to cook until al dente. Drain before setting aside.

Add in tuna, olive oil, parsley, ricotta, and half the parmesan cheese into the tomato sauce that has been simmering. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Combine thoroughly before turning off heat and stirring in the cooked pasta shells. Scoop pasta into a casserole dish before topping with the rest of the parmesan cheese. Put the tuna pasta casserole into the oven and broil for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm and enjoy!
