Tuna Pot Pie

Nothing rings more true as comfort food than Tuna Pot Pie with Bumble Bee Prime Fillet Albacore Tuna.
- 2 cans Bumble Bee Prime Fillet Albacore Tuna
- 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
- 1 can cream of celery soup
- 1 cup whole milk
- 2 unbaked pie crusts (we used pre-made refrigerated, 1 box)
- ¼ teaspoon white pepper
Preheat the oven to 425°F.
In a sauce pan over medium heat, melt butter then sauté onions 2-3 minutes until tender.
Add frozen vegetables and cook until vegetables are warm and any excess liquid has evaporated.
Remove from heat and gently stir together with drained Bumble Bee Tuna, soup and milk. Let cool 5-10 minutes.
Press 1 of unbaked pie crusts into 9” pie dish then fill with tuna mix.
Cover mixture with remaining unbaked pie crust and seal the edges of the pie crusts together by pinching or crimping with a fork.
Cut 3-4 slits in the top of your pie to let steam escape and cover the edges of crust with foil.
Bake on the bottom rack of the oven for 25 minutes then remove foil and continue baking another15-25 minutes until crust is golden.
Let cool 15-30 minutes before serving.
