Shrimp Fried Rice

It’s easy to enjoy this delicious mixture of shrimp and rice sauteed with egg, onion, garlic and carrots. Great to eat alone or pair with an entrê•Ô©e.

Servings: Serves 4 - makes about 4 cups


2 cans (4 oz) Tiny Shrimp

1/2 cup chopped green onion

2 cloves garlic minced

1/4 cup diced carrots

2 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 large eggs, lightly beaten

3 cups cooked rice, cold

2 tablespoons soy sauce

1 teaspoon chicken bouillon granules


In skillet, saute green onion, garlic and carrots in hot oil for 2 minutes stirring. Stir in beaten eggs, scramble. Add cooked rice, soy sauce and chicken boullion. Stir and cook over low heat for 2 minutes. Add shrimp and stir gently, heat until mixture is steaming hot. Makes about 4 cups.
