King Neptune’s Quiche
We love quiche because it is so easy and quick to prepare on a weeknight. Just combine our savory tuna, cheddar cheese (or pepper jack cheese for a little kick), mushroom, and green onion in a pie shell. Add a salad and enjoy!
Prep Time: 45-50 minutes
Servings: Serves 6
2 cans or pouches (5 oz) Bumble Bee® Tuna, drained and flaked
1 jar (6 oz.) sliced mushrooms, drained weight
1 9-inch frozen or refrigerated pie crust shell
2 cups (8oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese or pepper jack cheese
1/2 cup chopped green onion
4 large raw eggs, beaten
1 1/2 cups half-and-half or whole milk
Preheat oven to 375°F. Place tuna, mushrooms and cheese to cover bottom of pie crust shell. Combine eggs and half-and-half, pour over tuna, onions and mushroom filling. Bake at 375°F for 35 - 40 minutes or until quiche is firm and slightly golden brown.
