Healthy Mediterranean Tuna Salad

As a homemaker I have found the most irritating and yet satisfying part of my job (I mean besides being a parent) is cooking.

I happen to adore creating delicious meals for my family, but to be totally honest with you, sometimes it can be a real drag- especially when the dog days of summer hits. The last thing I want to do is turn the oven on and heat up an already sweltering kitchen.

So I came up with this easy pantry meal that can be made by using ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen.

As a matter of fact, I thought it was so delicious that I decided to make a video showing you exactly how it is made

Prep Time: 15 minutes
Servings: 1-2 Servings


1 pouch (2.5 oz) Seasoned Tuna, Sundried Tomato & Basil

1/3 cup diced tomatoes

1/3 cup diced cucumber

1/3 cup canned garbanzo beans rinsed

Some chopped fresh basil

Splash of olive oil and balsamic vinegar


Mix everything in a bowl and serve on lettuce cups or in pita bread.

Note: You don’t have to drain the Seasoned Tuna, Sundried Tomato & Basil before adding it to the bowl. It is already drained and seasoned perfectly!
