Another grilling staple, burgers can come in many styles and flavors. We’ve chosen a classic beef burger that’s made with mushrooms, both to add more savory flavor and decrease the need for a larger portion of beef (he’ll love it and appreciate the veggie boost!). Fish is delicious on the grill. But, the same flaky and tender texture that makes grilled fish so amazing also makes it a little trickier to get just right without sticking and/or falling through the grill. Thankfully, a few tricks can lead you to a successful grilled fish dish. The key is choosing the right type of fish and preparing the grill correctly. Typically, fish steaks (think salmon, halibut, or cod steaks) will do better when placed directly on the grill than fillets will. Whole fish also work well. Next, make sure to oil the preheated grates (do this with and oiled paper towel and tongs) AND the fish before grilling. Place the skin side of the fish down (if fish has skin) diagonally on the grates and wait 4-5 minutes before trying to flip (if the skin doesn’t release give it another minute.) To cook fish fillets, or more tender fish, on the grill, use a special grill pan or cook in a piece of heavy duty foil. Here are some of our favorite grilled fish recipes:

Grilled Pork Tenderloin
If you’ve never cooked a pork tenderloin on the grill, we highly recommend trying it. The flavor is amazing, and if you do it right you’ll end up with a perfectly cooked, juicy and flavorful tenderloin.
