Shrimp & Crab Ceviche
We’ve pretty much perfected this Latin American seafood dish with our shrimp & crab ceviche. Fast and affordable, this ceviche recipe brings all the delightful, light, and fresh flavors of this popular seafood staple from your pantry to your plate, so you can skip dining out and dig right in.
- 2 cans (4 oz) Medium Shrimp, drained
- 1 can (6 oz) White or Lump Crabmeat, drained
- 1 cup chopped celery
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 cup chopped tomato
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeno pepper, stemmed, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup lime juice
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
In medium bowl, combine shrimp, crab, celery, onion, tomato, cilantro, pepper, juices, oil and salt. Stir gently, cover bowl and refrigerate until served.
Refrigerate to marinate ingredients (30 minutes or up to 8 hours if desired).
Makes 6 cups. Serving suggestions: Serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
