Recipe for Kid-Friendly Tuna Quesadillas

Ingredients

  • 1 can Bumble Bee Chunk Light Tuna​
  • 1-2 cups Mexican blend cheese​
  • 1/8 teaspoon onion powder​
  • Optional: salt and pepper ​
  • 2 teaspoons butter or cooking oil ​
  • 2 flour tortillas​
  • 1 cup guacamole​
  • 1 cup grape tomatoes, halved

Directions

Drain Bumble Bee Tuna well and mix together in a bowl with cheese and onion powder. ​

Option to season with salt and pepper. ​

Over medium-low heat, grease large pan with 1 teaspoon butter or oil and place tortilla in flat.​

Cover ½ tortilla with ½ tuna mixture then fold the tortilla in half. Cook for 2-3 minutes until cheese is melty.​

Flip quesadilla and cook another 2 minutes.​

Remove quesadilla from heat and repeat with other tortilla and remaining tuna mixture.​

Cut each quesadilla into 4 triangles.​

Place 2 or 4 triangles of quesadilla into each lunch box along with ¼ cup guacamole and ¼ cup tomatoes.
