Sink your into teeth into this classic sandwich with a twist. Combining Solid White Albacore Tuna with basil pesto, this quick tuna melt sandwich recipe will replace your go-to lunch. Use Greek yogurt instead of mayonnaise for a lighter binder in this flavorful sandwich.

1 5 oz can of Solid White Albacore In, drained

¼ cup sun dried tomatoes, chopped

2 tablespoons Greek yogurt

1 tablespoon basil pesto

1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice

1 teaspoon salt and pepper, to taste

4 slices whole wheat bread, toasted

2 slices provolone cheese


Place aluminum foil in baking sheet and start preheating the broiler for this tuna melt sandwich recipe. Combine sundried tomatoes, tuna, basil pesto, Greek yogurt, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper for taste before mixing. Separate portions of tuna mixture onto the slices of bread. Add a slice of provolone on top before placing on baking sheet. Put under broiler until cheese is bubbly and melted.
