Gluten Free Tuna Burgers

Burgers are the perfect end to any week. This Tuna Burger Recipe is one to look forward to. Gluten free and pescatarian friendly, the recipe includes a fresh mango salsa that will have your mouth watering. Made with Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore Tuna in Water in 30 minutes or less, this is a recipe the whole family is sure to love.

Tuna Burger
2 5-oz cans of Bumble Bee® Solid White Albacore In Water, drained
1/2 cup of almond flour
1/2 teaspoon of parsley
1 egg
1 teaspoon of lemon juice
1/4 cup of chopped red onion
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon of olive oil
1 teaspoon of salt and pepper to taste
Mango Salsa
1 chopped green onion
1/4 cup of diced pineapple
1 mango, diced
1/4 teaspoon of salt
1/2 of a red bell pepper
1/4 teaspoon of red pepper flakes
1/2 cup of diced cilantro


Combine all the tuna burger ingredients into a medium sized bowl and mix together. Shape the mixture into five patties roughly the size of your palm. Heat up frying pan and coat in nonstick cooking spray or oil. Fry patties in pan for five minutes on each side, until thoroughly cooked.

Peel and chop your mango for the mango salsa, then place into mixing bowl. Cut red pepper and add to mango. Combine the rest of the ingredients into the bowl and stir. Serve on the salsa on top of the tuna burgers. If preferred, wrap patties in lettuce for a protein-style burger. Enjoy!
