Fit Families on Instagram: Who to Follow to Stay Motivated During the Holidays
When it comes to finding motivation through social media, Instagram is my app of choice. While there are many aspirational accounts out there, I prefer to follow people whose lives mirror my own – messy house, wild kids, and all. It’s not that I can’t appreciate a curated, perfectly put-together feed. I just tend to prefer a more realistic approach to workouts, healthy eating, and life in general.
One of my favorite “trends” on social media is families working together on their health, fitness, and well-being. Is there anything cuter than a toddler in child’s pose or a tiny chef whipping up a smoothie? I think not. I love that people are realizing that you don’t have to sacrifice family time for fitness or vice versa. When the whole gang is involved, everyone wins.

How’s your Tuesday going? Mine was going amazingly as you can tell 💦😩🤣👼🏾 Jogging with Indi is now getting real. Tomorrow we are getting it in again. I’m not a runner, and I dislike to run very much…let me be clear about this: I DETEST RUNNING LONG DISTANCES. Well, it is because this one fact I’ll be doing it it more often. You don’t get better only working on the things you already do well and enjoy. You get better by working on your weaknesses and navigating the things you don’t like so much. It only means you’ll learn a different skill set and be a better version of yourself. This week is all about getting outside our comfort zones. Just trying to keep my balance and stay above water in this crazy thing we call 'motherhood'. To all you mamas out there doing your own balancing act, listen I know it's not easy. Half the time we're second guessing ourselves and searching for the 'right' way to do things. But at the end of the day, we're all just doing our best and trust me when I say we're actually doing way better than we'd ever dare to give ourself credit for. And if you can put a smile on their face and get an 'I love you mama' at the end the day, then I'd say you're doing a pretty darn amazing job 💕 #withaeroplan
