Health Benefits:
Bumble Bee offers medical, dental and vision plans with several coverage options for eligible employees and families (including domestic partners). Health care and dependent care reimbursement programs are available to employees to help save taxes on qualified expenses. We also offer life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, short and long term disability coverage, and business travel accident insurance.
401(k) Plan Eligible employees may participate in Bumble Bee’s 401(k) plan by contributing up to 60% of eligible earnings pretax or up to 10% on an after-tax basis (up to the IRS maximum). There is a company match on employee contributions.
Vacation/Sick Time
Bumble Bee offers paid vacation and sick time.
Holidays
Bumble Bee observes a total of 11 paid holidays each year.

Career Development
At Bumble Bee, we strongly encourage career growth and development. Our Tuition Reimbursement program offers eligible employees up to $5,000 per year for eligible expenses associated with approved degree and non-degreed programs. Additionally, employees are encouraged to attend trainings and seminars to further career growth. Managers work with their employees to set performance goals and expectations and evaluate progress toward the employee’s professional development goals.
Community
Bumble Bee Foods sponsors the Holiday Bowl’s annual 5K walk/run in San Diego. It is the kick-off event for one of America’s largest balloon parades and the Holiday Bowl football game. Our participation in the 5K walk/run is an example of our commitment to health and wellness and our support of our local community here in San Diego.
Many of our employees participate in the festivities, whether they are competing in the 5K, enjoying the parade or simply cheering at the the football game. We think it’s a great way to promote community health and wellness through exercise, nutrition and good old-fashioned fun.
