While living a healthy lifestyle should be a priority, it can still be really hard to make it work. Busy schedules and long to-do lists are some of the biggest roadblocks to achieving health and wellness goals. Instead of trying to be everywhere and do everything, work on implementing small changes to make living your best life just a bit easier. The following tips are some of my favorite ways to ensure that I’m staying healthy and active throughout even the busiest of weeks.
1. Spare Pair
One of the best ways to ensure that you stay active is to limit excuses. Busy days, traveling, and other obligations can make finding time for fitness difficult. By keeping a spare pair of running shoes and other workout necessities available, you’ll be that much more likely to squeeze in a sweat session. If there is something else you just can’t be without (hello, headphones!), make sure to carry extras.
2. More Movement
As cliché as it sounds, it’s important to make time for movement. Taking the stairs, parking at the back of the lot, or walking around the block on your lunch break are all ways to sneak in just a few more steps. These activities won’t replace other workouts, but they will help you stay energized and focused throughout the day.
3. Portable Protein
Another great way to ensure you have the energy to power through a workout is to keep protein-packed snacks on hand.
